This is a re-release of the Amani vs Teapot project (Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe) … classic progressive tribal tek-house uptempo dance grooves that were composed from 1999 to 2002. These tracks originally appeared on various labels such as Red Menace, System Recordings, and Ritual Sounds. The Amani vs Teapot project gained a substantial following in this genre and was supported by the likes of Sasha, John Digweed and many other top DJs of that time …. and it formed the roots of the collaboration which eventually evolved into the Desert Dwellers project around 2002.
